Questions
What’s the difference between a 3-ton, 5-ton and 10-ton grip package?
The size of the truck, and so how much it can carry. A 3-ton covers commercials, docs and small narrative days. A 5-ton is the working truck for episodic, mid-size commercials and multi-camera days. A 10-ton is fully stocked for features, big commercials and stage work.
Can I edit this list?
Yes. Open it in Slater to change quantities, remove items and add your own, without an account. You only need to sign up to save it.
Is the PDF free?
Yes. Download it from the package page, no account needed.
Are expendables included?
The list includes an expendables cart, but expendables aren’t fixed inventory. Tape, clothespins, sash and the rest get restocked per job.
Why isn’t car rigging (or a Dana Dolly, or a 20x20) on this list?
Specialty gear is quoted as an add-on so the base package stays honest. Each page lists what’s deliberately left off the truck.
